Sandi Dayagi,
B.S.W., M.S.W., R.S.W., is a graduate of McGill University,
Montreal.
After completing her Masters in Social
Work, Ms. Dayagi started her private practice at the Hillside
Family Therapy Center in Montreal. She has experience in
psychiatry, having trained and worked at various psychiatric
facilities in Montreal, including the Allan Memorial
Institute, the Reddy Memorial Hospital and the Lakeshore
General Hospital.
She is a member
of the Ontario College of Social Workers, Ontario Association
of Social Workers and the Order of Professional Social Workers
of Quebec. Ms. Dayagi was affiliated with the Learning
Associates of Montreal (formerly the McGill Montreal
Children’s Hospital Learning Centre) from 1990 to 2003.
In 1998, Ms.
Dayagi moved her main practice to Toronto from Montreal, and
continues consulting in both cities. Ms. Dayagi is a qualified
therapist and provides individual, couple and family therapy
in such areas as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma,
parenting and relationship issues. In addition,
Ms. Dayagi has over 10 years experience as a counsellor in the
EAP field.
Ms. Dayagi is a frequent guest lecturer in the areas of ADHD,
learning disabilities and parenting, appearing at McGill
University, College Marie-Victorin, and the Quebec Association
of Learning Disabilities. She hosts parenting workshops at
various elementary schools and other venues in Toronto and
Montreal.
Ms. Dayagi is a
consultant to various
physicians, psychologists, educators, and schools in Toronto
and Montreal.
